It will massively loose its shape after 15 and more chopped polygons and thats NOT wat i want.
I could replace it with an 8-sided cylinder without any detailed shape but thats boring!
you COULD take it off, OR take it from 32-36 PER down to *thinks 14 PER handle and not have a MAJOR loss of shape...
that is, unless you've already done that (this is all in my head, so i dunno....)

The marine model is almost impossible to polygon chop because this model is that perfect that any change will make it look BAD!
A Phasegate could be chopped down to 40% but there is rarely more than one PG visible in one room.
