We love playing new maps. All of our clan members search the web for new ns maps then we play them and review them for ourselves on friday nights. The one biggest complaint about news maps is the RR. On 10% of all the new maps we play we cant get into the map. 14 players standing in the ready room hitting the use keys on all the walls trying to enter the map. we are suprised at how much this happens. Maybe you have a great map, but we'll never know because we cant find our way into it.

If a RR is done well, which includes a Random Join hole, the clan is impressed right away and will overlook other small flaws in the map. Iv'e seen members say ooooh sweet......upon entering a nice RR, then the anticipation grows and they get excited about playing it. I'm probably not explaining this well and I find it hard to. What I guess I mean is, that frist impression of your map may mean more than you want it to. Iv'e seen members get an bad outlook on a map from a shoddy RR. They get more picky and tend to judge a map with a poor RR harder. Im not telling you to fix this or complaining, just passing on info. Take it for what its worth.
