Sc Res Node Replacement

I haven't seen any resource nozzle replacement yet. How about a vaspene geyser and a refinery/whatever the zergs have for res nozzle and res tower? <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Its always funneh to say "we need more vespine gas" instead of "we need more res".
    But this might not work because of dimensions and hitboxes.

    Just have a smaller version. Some mini-geysers. I may try this once I learn 3Ds Max if it isn't done by then.

    Or someone could just change the resource smoke sprite thingy to look greenish like vespene, though after a quick skim I'm not even sure which sprite it is.

    I think the gas spewing out of res nodes are done with the particle system so I don't think you'll have much luck with the sprites.

    Umm the particles ARE sprites.

    It's probably 640circle.spr or one of those blueball.spr.

    I'm not sure though.

    It's definitely neither. wallpuff.spr is the closest looking IMO, but I don't think that's it.

    The hitbox thing can be solved quite easily. 4 vaspene geysers represent the legs (silos when built) and the refinery is in the middle.
