    Well, wrong forum for starts <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> (should be in off-topic)

    Outwar is an annoying 'game' whereby members trick people into going to outwar links to raise their 'stats' in the game (effectively).

    Because posting outwar links became so common (and very annoying), the problem was dealt with to raise the overall standards of these forums.

    We've taken a more creative approach to dealing with them. watch:

    How is providing a thread explaining exactly what you're clicking comparably the same as posting an anonymous link. It's from a person you know, and what you're clicking is explained. Unlike people who register accounts to post their spam and never look back again. Don't yell hypocrite if you can't back it up.

    So your saying if someone starts a topic that says "My Outwar Account" containing text such as "I have an outwar account. By clicking this link you help me out in the game, so please click the below link. www.outvvar.com" You wouldn't delete/lock/ban?

    you make your own game, which the devs can enjoy, you run your own forum which the devs enjoy posting in.

    Then you can spam it up all you like and destroy other peoples spam.

    Be greatful.

    The kings of chaos thing is different to the general users outwar thing, cause it is not intrusive.

    Its optional and honest.

    Stop being a contentious ***.

    I doubt the admin will give you any troubles if you just spell it out instead of using stupid trick.

    And christ, the warning is right there, in Outwar homepage, saying you will get banned for this kind of behavior.

    Anyone I catch spamming outwar links in IRC gets a nice ban and i personally report them to outwar for spamming (they have an anti-spam policy), including a nice log of course.
