Improving The Latest "cute Gorge"

<div class="IPBDescription">When I get the time...</div> Im statring to improve the latest cute gorge.
Some faces are misaligned to the skeleton (mouth nose back legs).
And there is lots of space for polygon-count optimisation.

Next step will be making A Baby gorge model, maybe with diaper bottle and custom anomations.

    876 Polys. (original NS gorge has 972 Polys)

    (keeping it smiling is hard - whoops if became fat.)
    After:
    614 polys (with spikes)

    edit.
    The spikes are just hidden.
    I will turn the pyramid-spikes into tetraheron-spikes for a few less polys.

    I made it look more like a baby (and sadly a little bit like a frog sometimes) and reduced polygon count to 492.
    edit3:
    Wow. "spherify -1" transforms an ugly male frog into a "beautifull" feminine gorge.
    Im now just changing points by moving them a little bit.
    I need to change the texture: Bigger eyes, more yellow and less green.

Eventually I'll make mine, but hers is definitely worth the download. The idle sounds and healspray sprite alone make it absolutely fabulous.

    yes ollj, you do very good work, i like the overall look of your optimized one... the "baby" i'm not soo sure about....

    I improved the look of the alien hive by optimizing it from the not soo god converted AVP model before i layd down the project because noone cared for it about one month.
    the actual alien hive includes my work.

    its ok im not on there either.. prolly cause im not "elite" lmfao.... as far as the gorge goes, i didn't really like the cute gorge concept but its definitely very nice stuff. I think i'd like it more if all the aliens where cute.
