see, now that my hand is healed, I started puttin' on light shows and shiznit at raves again. I saw some dude at an outdoor rave putting on a badassed lightshow with a flaming staff. which got me thinking... how much different would it be to put some wicks on the end of chains as opposed to glowstix on stringz? so...

now, I am spinning fire. with great risk of personal injury in the name of doing something that looks cool (and gets the chicks to notice ya! <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo--> ) I may have some pix if there's an outdoor/underground rave sometime soon

    Gazaar, I know the filter is a little excessive sometimes, but that doesn't mean you walk around it. Just put in brackets that no offense was intended.

    But good skill there, I wouldn't touch anything that is on fire, unless it deals with pyrotechnics <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    Well. there has to be three conditions:
    1) the people hosting the event know I'm actually going to be spinning fire
    2) it IS outdoors
    3) the people are more or less aware of their surroundings (at least enough to give me a good 10-15' clearance)

    Oh, and I and one of my friends has my car's fire extinguisher handy too

    any idjits within 6' of me are gonna get some hot pants when I smack them in the region between the legs. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->


    There's usually about 40-50 on average at the events I go to, but... when I or anyone else does a light show (fire or otherwise) the peeps open up (kinda like a mosh pit) so that they don't get hit.

    Oh well, my bad.  I'd enjoy to talk more about this subject but I don't want to get slapped <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->.  Sounds like something that would be pretty cool to see bio, sort of like the Hawaiian firespinners, the guys that have the fire staffs.

    bio... i spin fire sometimes too... last time i was going to do it when i was really under influence.. i burned my neck and you can still see it if you are close and look good... :S

    but hey! its cool isnt it... i can do neat tricks already..
