I wanna play Cloud-Connected regularly on old-skool UT. (I had a sudden craving to replay the old UT again and Diablo 2 since this afternoon)

Also, what is Freespace 2 like? Is it PURE space-combat unlike Freelancer?

    I can answer your second question - it's a pure space blaster, with some excellent fights between big cruisers you get caught up in, and some very atmospheric (no pun intended) nebula combat.

    It's also rather short, though.

    Yes it's pure blasting, but it's a good one at that.
    Well maybe you don't have ONLY fighting, you also have objectives (scanning cargo, protecting some flagship, finding drifting flagships in a electro-magnetic nebula, etc.)

    It's not like "your mission: nuke the hell outta them"

    I'd suppose it's like Descent but in 3D, but I never played Descent so I can't tell. (Freespace is called Descent: Freespace fyi)
