What to do with them
First off, all those wishing to post threads regarding speculative ideas regarding Natural-Selection 1.1 should entitle them "Another lame thread about 1.1 speculation" so that people who actually are here to help out and enjoy reading the forums don't read a thread that's entitled "TF Question" and it turns out to be a question about electrified TF's and how they may/may not work.

I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but to me; these kinds of threads are annoying and waste bandwidth/time to read especially for those who are INTERSTED in anwsering legitimate questions or aide others.

Failing this, at least please start a forum for people to post speculation -- it's annoying to get speculation into the mix with real world and worthy questions.

I like the "give the testers 1.1 and tease the rest for weeks" saying myself

The ns team is releasing a TON of information. You just have to look for it. How many screen shots/new features/weapon info do you want?

Well im guessing alot of stuff is being tested right now and they don't want to say much because it may or may not go in due to balance. Just look at all the posts about Electric TFs after the partial 1.1 changelog was posted...

There is a difference between speculation and discussion about what you know for sure. When you start making stuff up that is just way out in left field, thats when it gets stupid.

i reckon abtm is wasting too much bandwidth/time with all his posts about people wasting bandwidth/time

You know what I find annoying and a waste of bandwidth/time? This thread.

Is this your first ever mod forum experience? People will speculate. People will complain about balance before the new release. People will nitpick, take apart, and analyse every tidbit of information (Real or Fake)about the new version from the scoreboard to new upgrades.

Creating a thread to tell people not to do these things is "...a waste of bandwidth/time...".

If a thread displeases you, DO NOT REPLY TO IT. Don't throw more sticks into the fire.

Between now and the release of v1.1 you are going to see this board erupt with speculation, a veritable forest fire of nonsense sometimes.

This thread is like trying to put out a forest fire with a squirt gun. I'm sure you had all but good intentions abtm but you got keep your eye on reality.

Let the nonsensical speculation threads burn itself out. Give the intelligent people on this forum some credit because they will not fuel those threads you speak of.
