<div class="IPBDescription">won't work...</div> sorry to bother you fellas (i know you all have busy lives)! had a question for you smart ones (sorry for my n00bence). got AvP I (not 2) the other day and installed it on my computer. once it gets runnin, the stupid thing crashes on me. not the entire computer, it just exits the game. i can't even change my controls without it quitting... dunno what's wrong. basic stats of my computer are as follows:

geforce 4 ti4600
256 MB RAM (DDR)
athlon xp 1800
ummm... dunno what else to put...

can some one help me out or am i never gonna play this great classic?

Try... what operating system you're using? Sound card in the machine? Motherboard chipset, if you know it? AGP speed? Is fast write mode enabled or disabled? Memory aperture?

If your using Ntfs, Its a big nope. Some older games refuse to work unless you are using a FAT filesystem

My AvP I does that too sometimes. Just get the patch from Fileplanet.

If I remember correct, I havent got any problems with my AvPI... but I havent played it for awhile thought.
