<div class="IPBDescription">/me shakes fist at telecom *</div>I got ADSL connected to my house a couple of months ago and I want to host a game of AvP2. I have an Alcatel Speedtouch Pro ADSL modem/router/hub. If I host a server of any type, no-one can see me in the server list nor connect to me directly by entering my IP. This is true for any FTP, telnet, AVP2 or Giants server I host. I think it may be somthing to do with packet routing at my router, either that or there is some kind of basic firewall function stopping it. I have read around that you need to "forward" port 27888 for AVP2 to work. I have tried this with both UDP and TCP, with no sucess using the NAT -> Create command and entering the folowing:
Protocol: UDP/TCP (I tried both)
Inside address: 10.0.0.2
Inside port: 27888
Outside address: 0
Outside port: 27888
10.0.0.2 is the local IP of the computer I want to host on.
Any help would be good.

There is a speedtouch pro with firewall but I don't think mine is one.

Example, on a linksys router, you'd have to specify that for anyone wanting to access any computer on your network via FTP, uses port 21, and that its available and such. Otherwise, no one will be able to get to it. The same holds true for games, other utilities, webhosting, etc.
