<div class="IPBDescription">How to win as an alien.</div> Well, its actually very simple. I have not lost once on castle wars as an aleins yet.
Ok, no matter what hive you start at, go stright to the bottom and have ONE person gorge to build up the nodes. Have the skulks climb up the walls onto the skybox, and either wait for the marines to come up and build nodes/attack or go straight to thier base and rain down on them in a big group.
By this time, the marines should be down 1/2 nodes or a base, and you should have caped almost all of the res towers at the bottom and be ready to put up the other hives. First thing first. Build an off tower on the top most level of the seperating wall, one on each side of the entrance. This will keep Jetpackers at bay. While the hive is building, put down 4 dtowers RIGHT belowe it/them, and off towers at the entrance, catwalk side. Dont worry about the ladder side as no one ever comes that way.
Next, its time for the smackdown. One person onos, two people fade, everyone else, including the current gorge, lerk. Two lerks stay to gaurd the hive, the rest attack. The fades bile bomb the base from oposite sides, while the lerks fly around and spore/spike everything while providing umbra cover for the fades and the onos. Thats it. Game over. If you did it right you might have lost one hive, or at the most two, but you should have had the res to build it again as soon as the offending marines die.
This strat is pretty much flawless, the only this is human error. If the marines rush to soon, you can get screwed, so its important that you keep them tied up so that they cant. Thats all.

Strats for custom maps.... well sure, go ahead. NS's custom mappage isn't exactly at the same stage TFC's is, but it'll get there.
unless you do continuous rush on the marines to make sure they arn`t alive and they don`t have any res nodes is the only way to win on castle.
even i could make a better map than that lump of crud!
Fun map though, those JP and Lerk dogfights are one-of-a-kind. More outdoor maps i say!
