Ambience

<div class="IPBDescription">I think it's great....but I want more :)</div> The ambience sound track in NS is incredible, I love it, when played loudly in a dark room even without NS, it has the effect of setting me on end. But I noticed the ambience mp3 is ns_ambient1, I hope this means there are more planned, and if so, will there be more in 1.1?

    Yes, I hope so too :)
    The ns music is really nice(even if after hearing it a bajillion times you don't like it as much as the first time), and I've recently decided to complement it with the StarCraft music.

    phew...I like it as much as the first time I heard it, I didn't notice it so much the first day, more worried about beating the beta testers my first time comm'ing, but I notice it, and I have it cranked much higher than the sound.

    I've always felt that the marines running sort of kills the mood.

    You guys might laugh, but I think it would help the mood of the game if the marines were more limited to walking than they are now. Walking isn't that slow as is right now (HA's are still prety quick), so it wouldn't be that much of a sacrifice. Without all those clanking footsteps, maybe I'll finally be able to hear all those creepy background noises I'm supposed to. And it'll be a whole lot creepier to round every corner. Plus, aliens would have more time to set up ambushes. It's win-win for everyone!

    it would be nice if walking would silence your footsteps as if you were crouching. It's really weird to see everyone get down on their knees when they want to be quiet and crawl their way to the objective :/
    Though I've thought the same thing about DoD since they took out the walk button and made it crouch only, so it's not a big deal to me, it just seems a bit odd
