<div class="IPBDescription">Lerk Lift/Unstuck Pro/etc?</div> Ok, sometimes me and Sinistar83 play a small game to test some of the maps in the map pack I release. Well, I'm wondering where I could download some fun addons so we can use them.
I really want these one's.
Lerk Lift
Night Vision Goggles
Unstuck Pro

Thanks!

Umm... The one's I got don't tell me how to install this, I'm just guessing up them in the dlls folder?

the MM ones should go in the addons/metamod/dlls folder and then execute them in your addons/metamod/plugin.ini file (like the others are) and any adminmod scripts get placed in addons/adminmod/scripts folder and executed by addons/adminmod/config/plugin.ini

    Are those folders in...

    C:/Sierra/Halflife/

    or

    C:/Sierra/Halflife/ns

    ?

What's MetaMod, I downloaded a metamod.dll file from the www.metamod.org site. Thank for the Help so far Boris.

all the forums on modns.org that feature plugins have a thread called "Essential Files", get and install those and the rest should easily stem from there.

The metamod.dll you got is what you need for the mods in the Metamod forum, but it would probably help if you downloaded the version that came packed with it's own installation instructions.

Ok, I downloaded the .zip, and extracted it into my Half-Life Directory. Being stupid, I can't find any info on installation. Damn I hate you complication. ^_^

    Get <a href='http://www.adminmod.org' target='_blank'>AdminMod</a> which has metamod(MM) packed with it (I believe MM v1.13).

***[WHO]Them, I noticed you say 1.14 or 1.15 for the plugins on modns.org, I'm assuming it works on 1.13...I had problems when I tried *quickly* upgrading to the newest MM so I left it at 1.13.

Adminmod has an easy install file you run which will search your registry for the location of half-life and asks for the mod you would like to install adminmod for. It does everything for you...all you need to do is maybe edit server.cfg in the mod dir (ex. c:\sierra\half-life\ns\server.cfg) and adminmod.cfg in the addons dir (ex. c:\sierra\half-life\ns\addons\adminmod\config\adminmod.cfg) to the settings you would like (although default is fine...).

MM plugins go in the dir: ex. c:\sierra\half-life\ns\addons\metamod\dlls
AdminMod Plugins(scripts) go in the dir: ex. c:\sierra\half-life\ns\addons\adminmod\scripts

and then you edit the "plugin.ini" in c:\sierra\half-life\ns\addons\metamod for MM plugins (follow format of existing plugins---admin_MM.dll--- but using appropriate dir **ex. addons/metamod/dlls/PLUGIN** <--- if this is where you put the plugin's .dll file)

and "plugin.ini" in c:\sierra\half-life\ns\addons\adminmod\config for Adminmod plugins(scripts). Again...follow format of others.

You'll quickly see that it is easy once you know where everything is... Read the adminmod help file if you have problems.

Any other questions...post here and either me or another helpful NS board member will answer your questions (be specific if you can so the problems can be addressed quickly).

    GOOD LUCK!

Install adminmod to some random dir...say c:\sierra\adminmod
then go into that dir and find the file install_admin.vbs (I'm assuming your using windows...can't help you if your using Linux)

Just follow the setup through...it asks for the dir after finding 2 most likely, I think it is the same dir, I select the option "no" though...which is install to the dedicated server.
Next it asks for the mod...type "ns" then enter. That should be it. Go through the help file and check out some stuff on admin access etc...and soon you'll be on your way.

Take note of the "note" on the initial setup screen. Might want to get a bare bone server working to make sure everything is good.
