<div class="IPBDescription">...no, that wasn't a come-on</div> My current joystick seems to have suffered the typical analog fate; when playing any games that involve flying, etc., it apparently leans to the side (as my planes seem to inevitably want to turn slowly in a clockwise manner). Can you guys recommend any joysticks that might be devoid of this behavior, or at the very least last a good long while?
One I was thinking of was the microsoft precision pro, which apparently uses optical technology, much like a mouse of the same style. Any experience/opinions/gripes?

I have a Force Feedback 2, it's quite cool.
Before changing: Did you try to recalibrate your joystick?
It's well worth the $30 that I paid for it 2-3 years ago and still works almost as well as when I first got it, but I don't use it often enough to say it's worth much more than that. In addition, I don't know whether the newer version of it is better, worse, or the same. I could've sworn I read that they got rid of the 9th button (which acted as a "shift" button, effectively doubling the number functions on the joystick and base) but don't quote me on that -- you'll have to look at the specs yourself.
Specifically my problems come when trying to fly planes in battlefield 1942. They just...veer right.
Installed it through xp, had it auto-detect the sidewinder, and when I look at it at times, it looks like the crosshair is a lil off center.
