its a petition to valve to upgrae the engine for make better maps, models ect.
so do u think they will? and would it make much diffrance?

    I don't think a petition established on 'petitiononline.com' is going to do anything but make Valve roll their eyes back into their head. Besides, I'm sure they're too busy trying to move forward and break away from constant HL updates for us impatient designers. (I'd personally much rather wait for the HL2 engine to be released than wait for the HL engine to be polished up again.)

    Don't get me started on this rant again.

    I have in fact talked to a Valve employee about the matter, but he'd have me killed if I publicly noted his response. So I won't.
