Need...more...info! What kind of server are you running? Public or private? Will it be locked to everyone except clan members, are any players welcome or only ones you designate? Do you want to play vanilla NS or do you want to modify gameplay? Are you going to play clan matches on it or no? How many people do you want on it? What program will you use to administer the server?

There are a lot of questions you have not answered well enough for anyone here to make any meaningful suggestions for what plugins to put on your server. Every admin here has his own idea how a server should be run, so you should have your own general idea how you want yours to function. Try posting again with more deatil and maybe we can help you.

you dont have to use any plugins, our clanserver doesnt, but a common one is the /stuck plugin, im not sure where u get it but it is nice. There are of course some anti cheating ones (cheating death for example), but that requires everyone who plays on the server to have the cheating death client, which probably wouldnt be suited if you want your server to be public.

I disagree about the CD bit, I run a public server and I will be installing CD when I get a chance. You can run it in optional mode for a week or two (or download the plugin by prodigy to vary what happens, see down this forum), then up it to required mode.

That's what I shall do, but then my server has a broad client base already.

Other than that, I got to concur with vadakill, answer those questions and we can help you more.

On my pub server, I have CD running and the adminmod/logd "Moderator". It lets people without CD join, but if they hit a certain kill/death ratio or hit a maximum # of kills it requires them to run CD. It also nags non-CD users to install it and educates them as to what CD is and where to get it.
