as I already said at the SC Marine thread, I just found a nice article about WCIII. They say that there isn't just the Hydralisk model included - no, also the terran marine and the zergling! Cause the one Zergling project was canceled (iirc) I'd like to request a conversatio of the one from WCIII.

I really think that they should have used these models as a base for their half life conversions. I really don't like the hydralisk out right now. I'm not saying that that guy isn't a good modeler, cause he is, it's just that it isn't accurate. The Hydralisk is taller and leaner (like in the pic above), not hunched over like the one out right now. The models in WCIII are perfect, considering they are released by Blizzard. I would think that modding them for the halflife engine would be easyer than starting from scratch. Those should be used as the base for the marine, hydralisk, and zergling, bottom line.

hyper geek, just wondering what version of zergling are u gonna model?
because there are mainly 2 versions of zerglings out there, both are official blizzard material. As it was stated in this thread :

If my scanner wasn't busted then I could show you exactly what I am planning. It's sort of a mixture between all of the different versions with a bit of a Tyranid Hormagaunt thrown in.
