<div class="IPBDescription">What they are like</div>Well, I am at a point where I just can not decide what area of computing I really want to get into, as it is impossibe to do everything. I figured some people must have jobs in the areas I am thinking of, and I am quite curious what job opporutnity is like, pay, location, etc.

<b>Programming</b>
I have been learning C++ for a while, and enjoy it quite a bit (besides the debugging <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo--> ) and I could now go off into PHP for this, or into game coding. If I went with PHP, I could further develope my web design skills (see #2 below). If I went into game coding, what is the work out there like, and what would my chances be like?

<b>Web Design</b>
If I learned PHP (as mentioned above), and some java or other internet language, I could easily begin a career in design. My main concern here is, is the fact that people don't buy sites much anymore (besides Monse), and the job field seems quite small. I really do enjoy working in Photoshop, Flash and proograms related to it, but everyone I talk to, tells me to not go here, as it is too risky. Anyone know more?

<b>Level Designer</b>
This is a weaker area area, but my biggest passion right now. From what I have heard, this can be a hobby on the side, or a full time job. My opinion may change on this, as I am now undertaking a full NS map, and going all out on it, but for now, I will assume my liking of this area will stay. I am guessing most jobs here are in the US, am I not mistaken?

<b>3D Animation</b>
Well, I know VERY little, and I doubt I could do a lot of catch up now, but this area has always been of great interest to me. I have not known many people that did this job, thus, I know very little about it, how is the prospect for this industry? Can you get a full time job, or do you need to be able to animate as well as FF movie to get a job?

Well, I know this is all easy to change, I may not like one area in 5 years and change careers, but right now I keep jumping from one area to another, never knowing which I should settle down in and learn right now. Any information on these areas would be greatly appreciated.
