that looks pretty cool, especially as the marines head slightly covers the text and all.

It certainly looks quite a bit more of the Marine style that Parasites. Thats a good thing, it gives people a choice. Im a great fan of that blue colour.

NICE!...would that be possible(prolly not)to let ppl choose from a few different interfaces from within the game?! Or is there an "interface changer" that worked outside the game for all yer HL mods?

if there isnt an interface changer that worked outside the game it would be easy to make one. Just have a new folder inside the ns directory where there is a bunch of folders with different names of interfaces then make a program that displays all the folder names and when you klik install or whatever it copies the files out and over the original interface files.

It would be cool if you could choose from a variety of commander console styles as well

Back on the topic of the interface, I think a variety of interfaces would be really good, maybe you could do something like CS configurator that came with NS when you downloaded it. All the commander hud is is a bunch of sprites and the interface is just a set of BMP images, I'm sure it would be possible to make an NS configurator changing these aspects of the game.

My second replacement for all those alien-lovers out there:

the text to the right is a bit hard to read, does anyone know if i can change the font without coding?

I think the interface-changer idea isn't so hard to realize...
As Mecha said, all to do is to change some folder-names.
for example:
you have one "alien_shell" folder and one "marine_shell" folder in your half-life/ns/gfx directory. Then the programm change the "alien_shell" or the "marine_shell" to "shell" and it should work. And you must change the "logo.avi" in your half-life/ns/media directory.
Same with the HUD-replacements, simply have some different directories and rename them...

That shell changer program would be simple. in HL file directory you have a folder called gfx and within that is one called shell. Shell contains all the information for the interface so all you had to do was put other folders in containing different interfaces and name them shell2, shell3 and so on. That way all the program would have to do is rename the folders. No copying or anything.
