Skill differentiation for level 5 aliens

It's pretty clear to me that the marines, the commander, and all of the other aliens will take a lot of skill to use. Right on, good stuff.
But um, I don't really see how playing a level5 will be much more than just pointing and charging. Maybe this is just ignorance speaking (well, it's *definitely* ignorance, but that doesn't mean it's wrong :P), but I just don't see how a great player with a level5 will be all that much better than a pretty good player.
Anyone care to reassure me? :)

And then there's always the overconfident Level 5 player who will charge blindly into a marine setup of several siege turrets and get painfully annihilated. But as of right now, everything is largely unknown, because the level 5 hasn't even been in a playtest yet. We'll just have to see how things turn out when they get around to it.
The lvl5 won't be very agile, marines will most probably be able to doge aside unless the alien player is very good. Also, keep in mind that you've got to aim the lvl5s close combat attacks in first person view, what takes a whole lot of skill (and luck).
I for mine fear that lvl5 might in fact be the most difficult class in game.

he got owned by 1marine... the marine only ran backwards and empty clip after clip at me...
It is more important if something can be picked from the start, but it is important because with very little difference between the best and worst players of something will make whatever it is be called a "newb" class, or "lame" no matter if it is balanced or whatever, because any new player can just pick it up and start doing as well as someone who has been practicing with it for a year.
An example of where this happens in the HWguy in TFC. Now it's balanced, it certainly doesn't "own" the servers, but because there is very little difference between the best and worst HWguys it is called lame, newb or HW***.
However if you have too much skill diffrentiation, you will not attract new players, because new players will find it very hard to get into the game or class or whatever if the people who are better or more experienced or whatever not only kick their arse, but do it in a way that the new players can't even see how it's done. The newb will most likely then give up or turn to cheating.
An example of this I think is deathmatch. Deathmatch has been in decline for ages, because it takes a lot more skill to even start killing people than in teamgames where you can rely and bounce off the skill of friendly teammates.
Also in deathmatch you can get people who can constantly hop around the level with a tau perfect timing to exactly always have ammo to keep bouncing and to keep killing you everytime they find you.
And that gets very boring after about 25 deaths, especially if they hop to the health aswell.
edit: oh yeah, anyway I don't see it will eb a problem having little skill diffrentiation on a lvl5 alien because it clearly takes skill to become one, so they can't just be called newbie or lame.
