<div class="IPBDescription">Found a bug that puts aliens at disadv.</div> Just today and a few other times I've noticed that marines are able to shoot hives from the very bottom. It seems really unfair to be on the very edge of the platform then die from being shot and hear your hive is under attack by some guy who knows how to cheat out the map. Now it doesn't sound much but if you get an entire team firing at a single hive from the 2-3 spots possible, then hive will go down before the aliens get 2 rt's and the marines get an arms lab. Correct me if I'm wrong but the map's purpose is to pit the aliens versus the marines in a pretty fair enviroment if run correctly. Yet this bug tips the scale of the marines advantages alot. Its fine if you get good natured guys who actually want to play, but 75% of the time you don't get guys like that. You get guys who only want to win, and this.. error gives them that advantage that can make a man a complete ***hole.

    We tried hell yea we tried.. Either my team didn't figure it out or we were mined. They had some pistol snipers on their team.

    missilecommand_beta3 isn't a serious map. Live with it's bug and errors.

    If the layout was tweaked a little and made 'properly', then maybe something would be done to fix the bugs.

    The worst part is it's too open. Marine spawn and the hives. It was novel at first (fly onos, fly!) but now it just isn't fun. And that defeats the purpose of a "fun map". I mean, it has potential but aye yi yi as it is.

    The difference in how aliens and Marines collect thier resources ...and how they spend them ALWAYS puts Aliens at a disadvantage in those "fun" (resource farm) maps. The Marine Commander has full control of every single resource that the team gets and therefore, can get up 3 times the RTs as a single gorge in the same amount of time.

    Comm starts with 50 res, and need only put up a single IP in those maps, allowing a second RT instantly.
    "gorge" starts with 10-15 and must spend 13 to evolve...and then wait nearly a minute or more to get the second RT. By this time Comm will have at least 2 more...giving him a total of 4.

    I wonder if any of these "fun" maps will even work when NS becomes an RPG <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
