System of a Down and The Pimps all the way.
Even my insane Nickelback consume has to stand back to those.

All my time recently has been eaten up by Dream Theater, Tool, and Liquid Tension Experiment.  Just technically incredible songs.

Well, my old favorite bands are:

    At The Drive-In
    Econoline Crush
    Filter
    Tool

And my new favorite bands are:

    Burning Airlines
    The Dismemberment Plan
Mars Volta (Ok, it's really At the Drive-In...but nobody cares)
    Tool
    Prefuse 73
    Aphex Twin

I'm very proud to listen to music that would never be played on most cities' Popular Hits stations.

I've started to get interested in A Perfect Circle and Nickelback.  Other than that, pretty much the same old stuff (Tool, Ozzy Osbourne, Guns n' Roses, Nirvana, etc.)

The Avalances, Zero 7, Air and AlpineStars. With a bit of Norman Cook and Chicane thrown in. All good Photoshop music.

Of course!  How could I forget the Avalanches?  And Finger Eleven is pretty w00t too, except for their lyrics generally are too annoying for me to stand.  Which came first, Tip or The Grayest of Blue Skies?

Totally in a different direction to most of the rest of you but I've been listening to a lot of Capleton, The Cinematic Orchestra and Edan.

"Pull me under / before I try to drag you down" was pretty cool the first time I heard it, but it got old quickly.  And "It's biting, It's teething, It's biting, I'm bleeding" never made its way into my head.

The reason I asked which album came first is because Grayest of Blue Skies sounds better instrumentally but the lyrics on Tip are immeasurably better.
