<div class="IPBDescription">You like it?</div> I just got Wind Waker on the 26th, and I must say it is one hell of a game. It's much more direct than OoT (less wandering) and the puzzles make more since. Combat is also much more refined with the ability to counter your enemies attacks if you hit A at the right time . I was wondering what other NS players thought of it.

That's funny because sailing is my least favorite part. I must say after you go and beat the forbudden fortress dungeon (the 2nd time you go there) your in for a a big plot development.
actually If you wanna be technical it's not cel-shading, because there is no outline on the characters. Wind Waker is what Nintendo dubbed "Toon shading" or something. But it really doesn't matter. One thing is what I said earlier about WW being more direct than OoT, I was waaay off on that. Later on in the game (more specifically after the seceond time at the forsaken fortress) there is a whole lot of wandering around looking for islands to get certain items and the whatnot. Still better than OoT IMHO.
But I hope they NEVER EVER make another Zelda game all cartoony like this.
I agree, I would like to see the next Zelda game be more realistic. That was one of the things that made OoT stand out when it was first released, since few games on the N64 looked that good at the time. When I first heard of the cartoonish look, I was sorely disappointed. Now, I think that it looks great and has a nice unique look and feel to it, but would like to see something like Majora's Mask's graphics quality on the GC.
That opinion will change once you've played the game.
True, the story's Small and there's no depth.
