<div class="IPBDescription">1.1</div> Well, having been playing NS since 1.0,
the lastest patch will compleatly change the way we all play, and for the better it seems.
Hopefully going back the "old" days of the 1st few games you ever played, IE the feeling of the unknown, when you have no idea what Motion tracking was or even what a skulk looked like till your arse was bitten off <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->

After looking thru the Changlog so many tactics can be seen, and no more "what nub made the sens 1st!" (although its fun to try it sometimes) commanding will be so much easyer for the new and old alike and im sure Mako will "pwn" us all to say the least,

Some key points i have picked up from the log are- - Skulk bite and machine gun muzzle flash obscure view less - So im guessing Marine's will be even more accurate then the norm...mmm..

- Sensory chambers are now automatically cloaked, and they cloak other alien structures in range (including hives, resource towers, offensive chambers, etc.)
- Movement chambers now give aliens energy, like defensive chambers give health. Unsure if teleport ability will stay.
- Silence upgrade now silences movement and attacks (it's incredibly eerie)

Sens 1st? "yes please!" I can imagine the "nubs" walking into a alien base, planting a PG at the "Empty hive" and reloacting only to be greeted by the whole alien teams spawn <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='skulk.gif'><!--endemo-->

movement 1st is some times nice as you run circles around the marines at "uber" speed and having the energy will help that lurk take down the TF farms even faster, and if attacked the new flight model might make the getaway a tad easyer too <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo-->

- Skulk model orients properly when running on wall! Possible option for transforming first-person view ......help im going to be sick <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> and think im looking at the floor when its the ceiling and watching marines run upsidedown :/ yet still cool anyways

- Collision improvements (no "jittering" when crouching on structures, structure hitboxes much more accurate, etc.) thats just nice as i hated that anyway,


- New marine technology: electrified turret factory upgrade, does damage to enemies touching factory
mmmmmm handy i guess just assuming this wont be a upgrade right away or at least have to upgrade each TF like you would to seige rather then a single upgrade

- New Onos abilities allow him to stomp the ground to stun nearby enemies, then devour enemies whole (they are slowly digested, during which time they can be saved by killing the creature)...so im guessing paralise is out, and JPs will be a counter, but we all knew this anyway


- New effects: sentries smoke when they fire, alien structures splatter goo when destroyed ...well thats just nice and gives a better feeling I guess when you Grd that wol and end up standing in goo rather then a clean corridor

well that all said im glad I play NS more then even and roll on 1.1 please!

    Lest we forget; the Lerk is being massively upgraded too. "Big things for the Lerk in 1.1" i heard someone say.     I'm really looking forward to 1.1 (join the club)
    but I can't wait to see the new alien abilites, and how the shook the resource system up etc
    but is the onos stopm and then devour one weapon, like you can stomp, but if some is paralyzed then you can run over and devour, our would you switch weapons?
