The ultimate strategy in 1.1
You know how marines can find out that hives have been taken by aliens because a hive is there
but in 1.1, sensorie chambers will hide them which will add another level of difficulty to marine strategy..
just drop a few sensorys in all 3 hives and then you'lll fool them

It's a good delaying tactic, but we don't know how scanner sweep will affect the sensory's cloaking yet.
2. Spawning aliens.
3. Starting RT.
That said, building SCs first would pretty much kill an early-game hive rush. Spawning invisible would give the aliens a massive home-field advantage.
ouch.
marine : darn this lag i cant even walk through an open corridor without getting stuck
2 seconds later...
marine :HEY WTH WHATS THIS WOL DOING RIGHT IN MY FACE!?!
2 seconds later.........
My bad. Apparently it does not cloak nearby aliens. I was confusing 1.1 with some of the stuff from the I+S board.
So the uses I'm seeing are:
1. Hiding single OCs placed randomly through the map
2. Hiding RTs
3. Concealing the size of WOLs (is that two OCs? four? four backed by DCs? stacked?)
Maybe viable as a second-hive construction. But I'd be hesitant to trade carapace and healing stations for a few invisible OCs.

I'm just wondering if the big blue circle from MT will still show up.
Exactly what I was thinking.
There's also the fact that cloaking is useless without granting full invisibility. And that you can't move with it on.
But SC first, ah we'll have some fun with that.
Recently I've been getting Movement up initially. Level 3 silence is a killer Especially on the close quarters maps like nancy. It brings the question, which sense do you rely on primarily?
If sight: Sensory->cloak will be biggest threat
If sound: Movement->silence will be biggest threat
