Who Rembers It?
I was going through all my old games for my old PC(windows 3.1) and I was finding Doom and Wolfenstein and all those good games when I came upon one of the floppys for BIO-FORGE! I only found one of them, but it make me remember that game and how kick **** it was back in the day. Does anyone remember that game or does anyone have a newer version that would work for XP? Probably not, Ill just have to find an old computer and the rest of the disks for it. But if anyone has a newer version or where to get one, id be so happy

i vaguely remember that game. my friend was absent from school the day that game came out. i went to his place to find him not sick but playing it. it was quite impressive. i didn't get to see it all though. i wish i could play it now but i think it was a DOS game so there's no chance of getting it to run on modern computers. i can't believe it was a floppy game. it had plenty of prerendered screens and videos i really can't believe it would fit on floppies.

    I LOVE BioForge!!!

We should set up a BioForge fanclub, this game absolutely roxors. It's better than alot of games that are out now.

BioForge = possibly one of the greatest games ever conceived?

I looked around to see if Bioforge was legally downloadable, but it's not.

warning, abandon wares are not legal (go check out home of the under dogs they know it aint legal and they say so)
so don't bring em up (wares = locked topic)

now then as for emulating games, you can do it.

    Here are your obsicaltes:
Finding a DOS EMU(they are out there legaly) or getting a small drive (like 2gigs tops I think) that is formated with dos (I have one of those)

Finding drivers for your devices that will work with DOS, the main problem you will hit is probably sound card, I have never found a driver that will force my SBLive into acting like an SB16 or something. So yah, I havn't been able to play my dos games as of late (I am still working on it on/off)

Oh, and if you are running XP, try simply installing it, aparently XP has some stuff built in that is suposed to help you out with it (Not sure I run 2K)

Yes, thanks. I didn't know that until today. It had been considered 'iffy' but I never realized it was actually illegal.
