Using mines around your buildings is a good thing against one hive aliens. I mean seriously...usually once fades appear, the game is as good as lost unless it is ns_nothing.
I always get aggravated when i command at people not listening. Something I found to get people to stop humping the armory is, tell them if they dont go right now ur recycling the armory. Again as a commander watching the situation from above and watching your people all get killed by 2 skulks you run into that "Omg theyr so stupid i could have killed him situation" Theres no way of really knowing what would have happened if you were there but its still agrravating to give some moron a shotgun and watch him run out of the base and die after a skulk comes after him in a long narrow corridor in a straight line.
How do you get marines all to go the same way? I hate when I tell marines to get to a have like sat comm and they all go different ways! I give them all the same way point at the hive and they all listen kindof. The just go different ways. When I give marines waypoints closer to them but not at a hive the just don't listen.
Preciouse.. I found a way that helps. You state both the place you want them to go and from where. And try to make the launch point something like a Phasegate or outpost.
Sure, they wont allways go at the same time but atleast they will (more often than not) take the same path to the waypoint. Atleast it seems to help a bit.
if they don't move, they won't get any guns or armour or jetpacks, EVER.
That usually does the trick <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

You can shout all you want, if they don't want to move, they won't.
Simple minded deathmatchers...sigh
