Could somone explain the diffrence between smartgun models and regular models.

    the smartgun models have a different animation for holding the hmg. If you're using the smartgun p model without the smartgun animations it's most likely that the model will hold the p model up in the air. So, it's just a difference in the hmg animation really.

    Because the animation is superglued to the model and gets sent around with it in its .mdl state... soilder.mdl for example. So if you want to make your soilder look like its holding the smartgun (holding the P model) you have to bend its skeleton and freze the arms in the position it needs to be in. this has nothing to do with W and V models which are world (sits on the ground) model and view (you see it in your hand) models.

    Same thing with jetpacks...
