Modling Problem

I am new at modling and cannot get my run, walk, and crawl smd's to work. every thing in the qc file seem ok. when my modle runs around in game it dose not move its legs. it seams to glide around. yet in the HL modle viewer the leg moving animations work fine.

if anyone out there has encountered this plz help me.

    Are they in the same order as in the original files? When i started out, i discovered the hard way, that order is key, the names of the animations that show up when in HLMV or looking at the SMDs are just for the benefit of the modeler.

    if your talking about the qc file, yes. i have the exact same order of the sequences in the playershared file from SDK pack

    depends also if your talking about a 4 legged creature. HL is designed for bipeds, so we had to tweak the bone naming to get 4 legged stuff to work half way decently.
