Sad but true
I was forward this ticket from the Level 2 Help Desk staff at the site I consult at. Some people have no shame. Techies in the business sector will find this amusing:
Ticket Title
User cannot access Dreammates.com
Issue
User said that he can access many other similar sites like Match.com and People2people.com with no problem but when he tries to access Dreammates.com he gets a error stating that the proxy has blocked his attempts and will log it into his IE history. User stated that he has been able to access this site many times in the past and is not sure why it now blocked. He said it is very important for him to access some of the messages he has waiting for him.
Response
Advised user that non-business related sites (such as Dreammates.com) are being blocked. Unfortunately we have not been able to block all of these sites yet which is why some are still accessable (Match.com, etc). Also informed user that his PC is for business use only and should not be used to access personal sites. Closing Ticket.

I love it ...
ahhhh. but... there's a way to get around this. use the IP address (whats taht DOS prog that comes with win? you ping a web address and it'll give you the IP...) and you will be able to acess it with no problem. at least that's how I was able to get to my sites when I was in High school.
