Some Siege/missilecommand Tips

<div class="IPBDescription">Just a few hints</div> Siege: As a skulk, leap towards the bunker and dodge everything you see. When you get inside the bunker go round the little corner by the window and evolve to fade. Missilecommand: It is a standard tactic these days to go for defence chamber, then movement and sensory last. However, in this map it should be defence, sensory and then movement. Want to know why? Ok, marines generally mine up the base, so taking out those mines is a priority. If you were to get movement, then go down and try to evolve, chances are you would get killed while still gestating. Cloaking will allow you to fade in peace, and the extra time you gain by blowing up mines and structures with acid rocket gives your gorges the time they need to get a 3rd hive up.
Result: Team two wins!

also, the other sc ability (not scent of fear and not cloaking, forgot name) lights up the marines and the mines, this is the most usefull sc upgrade on missilecommand, especially when ur fade and can bile from the middle.
Try it, Its very good, also as skulk, becuz u can see all the mines and just jump over them

I have won as alien quite often on missile and I play mostly on clanservers with lots of good regs. Sure it's harder for aliens to win than on many other maps but it is doable.
The important thing is to harass the marines. You wont be able to stop them from building but what we are after is an delay not a victory. Going in in waves might help.
When they start to build the prototype lab then you should direct all your power to take it out. If they manage to get it up then it's time for defence. Make people who have 33 res go lerk and play mobile turrets. Their jobb is <b>bot</b> to attack the MS but to stay topside and blast all the jetpackers to bits. The ideal number of lerks is in my opinion 4. One on each res plattform and one each on the the small plattforms on each side.
OC and some DC will help protecting the hive.
From there on it's just a fight for time. The lerks must with the help of the gorge drop all the 'rines comming for a visit.
When the second hive comes up it's usally over. The gorge can then web the hives up so that most 'rines will fall to their death. The ones with welders will be occupied welding so they will not be able to defend themself.
This is usally the time when some of you should go offensive again and harass the marines.
When the third hive comes up then it's a pice of xenocake to win.
In conclusion as opposed to most other maps it isn't the marines that benefits on a long fight but the aliens.
If you manage to get three hives up, ONOS can survive the fall to the lower platform and if you have regen you can then drop down and eat the marine base, or stay there and para any marines who try to go up <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> Watching them fall to their deaths is fun! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
