    Just to clarify: I love Anime deeply. Cowboy Bebop, NGE, LAIN, Ghost in the Shell, <i>Akira</i>... couldn't live without it.

    DBZ, on the other hand, earns Toriyama a place on my list of 'people who deserve to be forced into a never ending showing of Episode 2'.

    Ah yes... the ultimate "love-hate" anime... DBZ.

    (They say Freeza kept whapping Goku in the face with his knee like that for 3 weeks straight)

    The never ending anime debate to end all debates.

    Purely put, 95% of the people that know about DBZ (which is like 99% of the world).  Either it is loved and praised  with far too much enthusiasm or hated with a blind fury that has no end.  It seems as if I'm one of the few 5% that just like it most of the time.  Sure, I'm willing to admit some episodes are just slopply done, and that whole drawn out Freeza struggle was well... too draw out (aka. the longest 5 minutes in history).  Though for some strange reason the Freeza Saga and some other things that people seemed to dislike were shortened or non-existant in the Manga.  Why they put in what they did? Who knows.  Still it's REAL good in some points and well done for something that's like... 10 years old (I think).

    That's really the only thing I have to say about DBZ, and geez, this isn't even an anime related forum... just imagine what I've seen of this before...

    Bottom Line

    Some times poorly done, REALLY drawn out.
    Attracted WAY too much attention to itself

    Oh dude jedi, freeza isnt a guy  <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo--> , freeza is a girl and her brother coola try's to avenge her twice <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->. Yeah the show gets boring sometimes (especially when they repeat the same fight scenes over and over again) but it's still a good show.

    frezza is a guy i would know and yes i am a Big fan of ths show hence the avitar his bro colar dies in cooler die in the movie coolers revengge and then in the series he diees but the movies dont go along with the series at all its kinda sad.  <!--emo&???--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'><!--endemo--> and i agree with pyro some of the episodes are the coolest but then others arent so great.

    and jedisar your welcome to you opinion on dbz witch is clearly negitive but some one has to set the facts srate for the uninformed.
