Amusing Windows Problem
<div class="IPBDescription">explorer just kills itself</div> Ok I ran into this on my dad's laptop (from which I am typing)
Here is the deal:
Vaio (2 years old)
Win2K
patches service packs etc, all up to date
so If he leaves explorer (NOT IE. the file browsing tool, windowskey+e) open for very long it simply kills itself
no error msg, no beeps, nada. All that happens is that the taskbar (he usses auto hide) pops out and then goes back. Well yah, tried google, but then again you try doing a google for explorer, it don't work.
So yah if any one has ideas or has run into this let me know
Thanks.
