If you're still having problems, maybe turn off RGB mode and go to index colouring mode. I used to have that problem when I attempted texture art. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

Did the RGB thing work? Gotta tell us in case someone else has this problem in the future.

well seeing as making it indexed colour makes it 256 colour I would have thought so <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
