<div class="IPBDescription">(NB: Humourus)</div> Mkay, I thought it would be fun to see some of Murphy's Rules of Combat here, NS style!
So come in, ladies and Gentlemen, redo MRoC and do them for NS!!
No takers?
Okay, then, I'll start:
1. If you can't remember, the Onos ran over you.
(If the Onos DID run over you, check <a href='http://www.brunel.ac.uk/~ccussmw/murphy.shtml' target='_blank'>here</a> to find Murphy's Rules of Combat.)
PS. I didn't search to see if this was posted before because of the forum bug, so don't flame me for it. And if you want to say "A post to fix the bug is webbed at the top of the page" , please consider the fact that the program that was supposed to fix it didn't work on my PC

When did jaws ever run out of ammo?
Ego
[FACT] - ...
whenever you leave your base...always go out with a teammate...if your lucky...
They'll have nice eyes and a cute butt.

Always bring a friend when you are trying to eat resource nozzles. This will avoid that bloated feeling when your meal is done.
Corollary:
If you can't see the skulk and it's not biting YOUR behind, it just killed all your backup and will be visiting you next.
At least one in every four games will feature a clueless commander or gorge on your team.
At least one person in every game deserves to be muted.
(1)NSPlayer will be a super-player incognito and will kill you in a humiliating fassion whenever:
1) He is on the opposing team
2) You just told the entire server what a n00b he is.
The server will lag right after you drop down behind a marine, but before you can bite him -- ruining your ambush.
-If the enemy is in range you are skulk food
-If you cant see them they are cloaked and can see you
-dont spawn! It draws fire
-there is always a vent
-the easy vent is welded
-organized marines are predictable. It are the rambos that kill the gorge
-The aliens invariably attacks on one of two occasions:
When they have fades
When they don´t have fades
-If you can't remember, the skulk is above you
-If you reached the hive alive, theres no one and the comm drops a phase then you are parasited
-The marine diversion just took out your hive (Jp/Hmg)
-Never share a vent with a crouching marine
-It is generally inadvisable to eject the com during a skulk rush
-A parasite is the hiveminds way to say your screwed
-If you're short of everything but marines you´re at processing
-If you have secured the hive dont forget the siege gun
-Never forget your weapon probably isnt upgraded
-You are not Ripley
-No turret farm survives the first fade rush
-If you are forward of you position the onos gets you first
-Less important objectives are hard to achieve
-Important objectives are impossible to achieve
-Commander math: Usually 5HA/HMG+2JP/HMG+3HA/GL = 1well-fed skulk
-Different equipped marines that would work good together run in different directions
-the clip is empty as soon as your crosshair is on target.
-When both sides are convinced that they are about to lose, the aliens win.
-If it chuckles shoot it
-Health spam works
-Murphy is the hive mind
Most dangerous marine thing, anyways
You will always enter a long hallway when a skulk is right in front of you.
Gorges and alien resources are always in the worst protected places.
Anytime you go gorge you get overflow-kicked.
The lost welder HMG of your dead teammate always dissappears 2 steps infront of you.
You never have Generator Hive save enough.
No matter how far you stand away from a sieged object, the siege alwways hits you.
Mines and Nades kill marines better than skulks.
-Lerk Bite will always miss when you are using it; it will never miss when you are trying to shoot one down.
-If you think you're cloaked, and you're playing v1.04, you're not.
-As soon as you get all your evolutions finished as a Skulk, the first person you meet will let off all ten pistol bullets in ten milliseconds, with perfect aim.
-The Marines will eventually turtle. Bring a Mack truck.
-When you're almost to the Hive, and haven't met a single Alien, you'll run into the web.
-Your resource towers should come with toothpicks.
-The first rush for Processing will work. The second will see you tied by your ankles to the back of a runaway bus. Pack accordingly.
-If you think you have two Hives locked down, you will soon find yourself needled to death by Lerks.
-Don't open the door. Get someone else to open the door, and shoot where they used to be standing.
-The second time you find a perfect hiding spot, the entire enemy team will be waiting there for you.
-Never overestimate the power of a siege.
-Support your teammates. Do not depend upon them.
Right when you think marines suck, 1.02 comes out.
Right when you think marines really suck, 1.03 comes out.
Right when you think marines will never win, 1.04 comes out.
It's easier to hit the backs of your 'rine comrades than hitting the single skulk taking you all out.
When you die the comm starts health spamming.
When you run out of ammo and die the comm starts ammo spamming.
If the aliens aren't attacking then you're screwed.
You die as soon as you saw that skulk.
The marine always has a pistol.
Just when you think you bit the sucker to death he knifes you.
When you thought it couldn't get any worse, you f4.
When you thought things couldn't get any better, they f4.
Skulks always take a full lmg clip. It's your buddy that kills it.
When you see a marine in the hallway you're dead.
When you see a group of marines in a hallway you have n kills.
Turrents is mispelled.
Don't shoot at Lerks, conserve your ammo. You won't hit them.
The only thing more dangerous than a Fade is a mine defense.
The only thing more dangerous than a mine defense is no mine defense.
Either way you're screwed.
The only thing more dangerous than a mine defense is no mine defense.
Either way you're screwed. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
so true, so true
. The marine who left the base without stocking up on ammo will run dry in the middle of the alien hive.

so tru, so tru <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->
Always build defense, even if the marines have a hive.
If you find an HMG, chances are, it's empty.
Xenocide is always accidental.
The phase gate is already down.
A guarded node is never attacked.
The only thing more deadly than an empty clip is a welder on the floor.
When all else fails, jump around wildly.
The leading cause of death for the Onos is level geometry.
so true my friend...... sooooo true.......
Any HMG/GL you find during a firefight will need reloading after 2 shots.
Your main base will fall under attack at approximately the same time you get to the waypoint your comm just gave you -- at the farthest hive.
The more you yell for teammates to defend a critical location, the more they will avoid that area like the plague.
