Anyone know this email virus/evil thing?

<div class="IPBDescription">Hrm...</div>I thought I was special, because I got more emails in the past ten days than I usually recieve in a few months.  But then I noticed that they all had attachments and had odd names.  So, yeah, I figured something was up.

But I'm wondering : What exactly is it that was sent to me?  Here are some of the message titles, some of you may have recieved these as well.

Some Questions
Hi japanese girl VS playboy
A very   new game

Well, uh, yeah.  With the exception of 'Some Questions', all were sent to me twice.  And considering I knew none of the people, things just clicked.  Anyway, if you already  had a topic on this, my apologies.

    I think it's just spam, you can block it with hotmail, and I had a course about how to deal with spam but i forgot it all <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo--> I'll look into it if you like (tho it's linux based :/ ) Just never open mails from people you don't know, especially not if it's some sord of greetingscard , hotmail has a build in virusscanner, but I'm nto sure how good it is (and it only works wit hattachments, so clicking on a link found in a mail that installs a virus on your HD is stil la possibility ) I'd suggest you check your HD for spwyare with     <a href="http://www.lsfileserv.com/downloads.html" target="_blank">Ad-aware</a> some spyware progs find out your mail and send it to companies. As for me I never had any of those mails

    no, its not just spam, i had this virus. Its the W32.Klez.H@mm virus. It is quite evil. I only realised i had it when i got about 400 returned emails because the address couldnt be found or the end people picked up the virus. Are you getting returned email or are you getting email?

    This is quite a difficult virus to clean off too. It infects your .exe files (a lot of them), it adds itself to startup, adds registry entries etc. The main problem with this virus though is how it distributes itself. You only need to see the message for it to autoexec itself. It duplicates itself by scanning basically every file on your computer for email addresses and mailing itself to them. Which is probably why you might be getting so many emails, people who surf this forum would have your email in a html file in their temp internet files. Im going to try to find an email address for you and send you a file to fix/check for this virus. Just disconnect your computer from the internet, restart in safe mode, disable any virus checkers and run this file and it should find and destroy any infected files and fix up your registry etc.

    This is why I use a remote Unix server for my email... my email doesn't even touch my hard drive.  (:
