Stat Programs

Hey.... hlstats seems great and all but the one website someone offered doesnt support perl apps/mysql db's.... So my question is if there is some kind of program that records the stats from the log files, but will go to a server when I upload it.... Likesomething that records some kinda cheap database onto the servers computer but if will generate a text file or html webpage that I can just reupload to the server......... Or some stat program that just doesnt require so much o the webhost? =P ........ btw im running on windows 2k so a program that works with that is good

Yes, check the webbed topics, can't remember what forum it is on but there is a project in development as we speak for NS specific stats. It will quite probably use MySQL and PHP though, but don't quote me on that cos I know nothing <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

NS Stats will do that, but will only be released in about 2 weeks time to the general public.

Psychostats works well once you customize it. It is geared towards other mods (CS, DOD), but it does a good job for NS. It doesn't use a database however. It re-evaluates the logs at each iteration. There are some good log stripping utilities on the site that can make the job go faster. And it supports automatic FTP upload.

PS1.9.1 won't have the event rewards nsstats will. Its missed features that pebbles obviously wants.

PS is more based on Kills and Deaths than NS Stats is... I'd like to see good comm work and good team work rewarded over sheer kills and sheer deaths.
