um .md to milkshake, search the web for a converter, or in maya save it in a dodgy format that something else can read and save as something else can save as to open in milkshake
i once converted a truespace model to GMAX by saving it as ASCII

I have finished modeling all the ideas including the seige. I have found a maya > 3Ds max converter and have imported all these files into 3Ds. Now comes the hard part <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> texturing and boning. Because of this I have to do a few more tutorials which will make the release date for all the ideas alot longer. Would you like me to post pictures of the finished models ?
