2)i know tha tif a fade shoots at a mine, the mines all around it blows up, and(i think) damaging the buildings as well. what about if a skulk comes? the skulk dies, but will the buildings get damaged as well?

2: if something trips a mine, the mine damages only them and the marine who set it (if he's in range). If a fade shoots the mine, it behaves as if it's the fade's weapon and so will damage structures and marines. If a skulk trips a mine with its body, it will NOT damage structures. So it's safe to put mines on the floor around an important building (a PG or TF or RT) and not have it destroyed by a skulk tripping the mines.
They'll adapt what you see to what you get... They may stay hitscan with spikes that don't fall down or become like the spikes you see.
