Another Ban?

<div class="IPBDescription">Mines, hrmm.</div> I just got banned for 6000 mins from some server.

Anyway I was mines rushing, which I do from time to time. You can mines rush with no RT at all and still win, the successful rates goes up depending on how many good rambos you have to work with.

What's so wrong about this strategy is that aliens will be very very **** off and marines will say, " Gosh, that was the best game ever!". And the **** off aliens at that time was an admin. Anyway I dont see any wrong doing by mines rush, you've seen skulks rush and win games many time. I am not mad that he banned me, I actually laugh when I see the blank screen with 6000 mins of Banned in display. I still have another "Better" servers to play in that doesn't have rules like; "Do not beat aliens within 10 mins of the game". "Do not beat ta crap out of admins or you will be expecting an unfair ban.", and finally, "Play admins' ways or dont play in this server at all".

It's a compliment. You are too good for them. I don't get banned from NS servers for being good, but I do get banned from Tribes : Aerial Assault (CTF) maps all the time, when I capture the flag 5 times in like 7 minutes.

It is also <i> possible</i> that the admin thought you were trying to crash the server with mines. I'm not saying that is the reason it happened. I'm not saying he was right for banning you. I have seen people join games with the sole intention of crashing the server. Be more angry at people that abuse servers by doing such things as intentionally crashing a server. They are probably the reason you were banned.

Nah basically you couldn't possibly drop enough mines to crash a server with no or one RT. And hive usually goes down before you can place more than 20 pack of mines, usually takes 10 pack to win the game. And mines aren't the cost of server crashes, so basically if you mine rush the alien and marines will have less structures, so the server RAM wont take up too much space and thus tend to run smoother. So I think that how it works.
