    Depends wether or not the jp'er has a HMG. If so you should really be able to hit him as thrust, movement speed etc is all reduced by that HUGE gun he's got. If armed with an LMG they move damn fast!

    adren is really only needed to spike for long periods of time.

    It depends. The alien team should know pretty well what the marines are doing. If the skulks are doing their typical base raids, they should be able to spot if they have a prototype lab. Prototype lab = jetpacks soon. Dancing prototype lab = someone needs to lerk immediately.

    Adren is not needed except for long periods of spiking (like frogg pointed out) and umbra. If you can't handle a lerk without adren, have someone go lerk that can, or learn real fast. (you can hold the jump key to glide, and it doesn't use energy, in fact, it recharges your energy)

    A lerk is not needed if they don't have a prototype lab, just wait for second hive to be complete.

    Now I'm no lerk hater, I love lerks, they are the funnest class, but this is in the best interest of the team, not score **** rambos.
