Lag Advise Please?

<div class="IPBDescription">I have DSL dangit, gimme 60 ping!</div> As of a month ago, I ordered DSL, and was getting around 60, 80 ping on many local servers, then all of the sudden, I get up to 150 or 170. Did I change something? My friends still have their lovely 60 pings.
