Ns Log Problems

I'm new to running a NS server, but have been running a CS server for several years now.
For some reason logfiles are not writing to my server. Is there something I'm missing? I have "log on" set in my server.cfg file.
Also is there some place online someone can direct me towards that breaks down the various options for the server.cfg file?
Thanks!

"log on" is better placed in autoexec.cfg. When in server.cfg, you get 2 log files for every map. Stop and restart the server, since autoexec.cfg is only read at server-start. Make sure there's a "logs" directory inside the NS directory, and that the user you run HLDS as has permissions to create and write to files in that directory.
