Looks like random buffer overflow. Try reinstalling NS.

Actually, reinstalling ns would be a gross waste of time. I had this happen to me a few month back when 1.04 came out. I fiddled with it for some time and found out that some of the files magically change back to a previous version. All you have to do is reinstall the 1.04 files. I keep the 1.04 zip file in my drive just for that . I'm not sure the exactly why this happens though, maybe someone else can explain?

Close NS and restart, this should solve the problem, I think i've had the same problem a while back.

I get it as well. I found I would have to reboot my computer. I always thought that was my computer doing that. See, if I leave it on for a long time, it likes doing all sorts of crashes and errors, (love windows ME. grrr) and that's the only time I see that "expected 46" error.

I dunno about you, but it alows me to join the server, but when I go join a team... POP! there it is! I can reconnect to any server... but heaven forbid I try to join a team... (even observer)

Really ought to put this in the bug forum, if it isn't there already. Good to know it's not just me anyway!

No, the microsoft tech would say something like "it is not our program, please contact the company that you bought the software from. Oh, you did. And you say that did nothing? Its a problem with windows, you are just going to have to upgrade"

    I wondered about that too?

what i THINK that is, is if you join a Cheating Death required server without it running and it kicks you out you have to restart NS. It is annoying, but either get CD or don't join CD servers. I'm pretty sure thats what the problem is. I get the same one (i think) when that happens.

    Hope it helps.
