The ReadyRoom is getting LANtastic. No, not the crap networking software which came and left before many of you were out of diapers; we mean LAN Parties! You heard me, LAN Parties! For those not in the know, LAN parties are gatherings of friends and competitors who play PC games over the course of a weekend in a Local Area Network environment. They often have a low entry fee that covers their expense for food, drinks, power, and servers, and in exchange you get to play all your friends with near-zero pings. Some provide tricked out PC's, others are 'Bring Your Own'. They are a great social gathering, cheap, and tons of fun.
Our new feature is called Natural SelecLAN, and at the beginning of every month we will post links and contact information to all the LAN parties we can dig up for you that are hosting NS games and matches, or are open to playing NS. Sorry for the delay in March - the idea came to us over fajitas and beer at the weekly RR.org gentleman's club excursion. Anyhoo, here's the March 2003 Natural SelecLAN list.
