just like the title says :D
I recently built a comp from scratch, the specs on it are:
p4 2.4ghz processor
asus p4g8x deluxe mobo
1 gig pc2100 ram (running dual channel)
and i just got done putting in a radeon 9700 pro card.
now, for half life and any of its mods, i get a pretty constant 100fps
same for war3, jedi knight, etc. excellent performance
in unreal tournament 2003 however, i seem to get only like a constant 50-60fps in closed spaces, and down to like 20-40fps in the large open ended ones. i was hoping being the radeon it could be a little better. i've got the settings on it all set at average, or "normal", whatever they are. not exactly sure what kinda tweaks i should be making under the display section of my control panel, any suggestions you can offer greatly appreciated

The OpenGL settings are on page 26. Make sure that V-sync is set to off. Then adjust your Texture and Mipmap Level Detail to suit your needs.
You are running in OpenGL aren't you?
I'm *assuming* to get it going in opengl for sure, i can add -opengl to the application's extension from my start menu, tried that, but still no luck
