    Dictionaries can give you leet skills. I was actually looking up the word "onomatopoetic" when I came across the word "onager". Was drawn by a nice little sketch of some antique war machine. Seems onager is a sort of greek catapult, and the word means "wild donkey". And then I spotted the "onos" reference.

    So eat lots of dictionaries each day, kids! And remember to take your smartpills.

    "Skulking" is loitering about, often unseen, and probably up to no good.

    "Lurking" is lying in wait for prey. (note the different spelling.) "Lurk" has more sinister connotations than "Skulk" - a mugger skulks, a serial killer lurks.

    "Fading" is gradually disappearing or reappearing from sight.

    Hee-haw.

    You might think that this is just a comical noise and that donkeys don't really say that, but having woken up to the sound of wild burros hee-hawing, I can tell you that "hee haw" is the best description for it.

    Actually, it's more of a

    <b>haw-hee-haw-hee-haw-hee-haw-hee-haw</b>

    One of the most annoying sounds I've ever heard an animal make.

    I'm aware of that. We had a long pointless discussion on the proper plural form of onos a while back. So many people thought that Onosae, onosoi, oni etc. was the bestest. But seemign as the word is made up of an english phrase it had to be "onoses". But that sounded FAR too mundane for the crowd. Cant figure out why. It aint latin, greek or anything. Well onos is greek for donkey, so now we can call it onosoi LOL .
