Strange Problem

OK, so I was playing yesterday, and everything was fine. Then while playing today, I see that for some reason, when i point my crosshair at buildings, it doesn't say their name anymore, or their description. Whenever I scroll my mouse to choose another weapon, it doesn't give a description of the weapon anymore. Anyone know what the command is to get this information back?

thanks. I kept trying stuff like cl_showhelp and it just wasn't working
