Mobile Phone Text Speak.

We all know what it is cos we all use mobiles. It's the dreaded cousin of l337 of course. But in scotland (my country) some school kids have actually submitted assesments written in "Text Speak" claiming it is a valid form of language/communication for our time. This made the TV news on a kids news program called Newsround. All you brits will know what it is.

Oh my god.

Txt spk annoys me to no end, especially seeing as just about *all* of my RL friends use it on MSN, web sites, e-mails and so on. I've seen "u" instead of "you" in some of the most inappropriate places and to be perfectly frank, it makes me want to kick babies.

honestly, I see nothing wrong with abreviations, so long as they don't go to far. I personaly use u, b/c etc simply b/c when I am typing I am in one mind set (that of generaly playing videogames). As well as the nifty function of word to be able to 'auto correct', yes I have taught word b/c = because, and ppl = people ;D

oh well, it is a hardthing to say THIS IS THE LINE, I believe so long as your are still legible, it is all good. (and putting it in officail things is just silly)
