Lame? Not Lame?

I just had an interesting game, resulted in me dropping a cc + ips inside a hive and shooting it to hell and back. In the rr, the aliens immediatly shouted "lame!". This seems to happen with jp rushing, 2 hive lockdown, and sometimes even tech up to ha/hmg vs fades. Now i ask this...why must players complain?
And that other question...what isn't lame?

I'm of the oppinion that virtually any tactic, if it works should be regarded as un-lame ("elite"?) - there are obvious exceptions to this, cheats exploits etc, and some tactics should be avoided because they aren't enjoyable for the other team (spawn rushing) but are valid nonetheless. I was told I was lame for siegeing a hive....phrr my ornamental siege cannon.....
You, on the other hand, are very creative. Good job. However, I must say that your strategy is a risky one - because if the aliens had their act together, they would have destroyed those structures and the marines trying to build them, and you would have been out a lot of res.
My philosophy - if it works, it's not lame, unless you do it OVER and OVER and OVER (like JP rush ...)

Tech rushing is near impossible for aliens to counter, but its a perfectly legit tactic to use.
very annoying indeed....unless they manage to get the hive up afterwards..
why should ns be about heavy armor vs. powerful aliens?.. what is this, dm?
ns is should be about a lot more than that, IMO. should be much deeper. though that may be the most fun to you, that's fine.

Marines can also do this but they dont need no thing healing them. plus its annoying the way the comm neva comes out of the cc when there are no ips left and u gotta destroy it and then kill him making it a complete waste of time.
somin that is lame is normaly somin that is annoying and there isnt really anyway to get around it. Like jp/hmg rushing (plus jp is bugged, sometimes u hit some one with jp loads and they dont die )
scanning shouldnt work for seige cannons as well. lets get those scared **** marines out of there holes for once and attack.

Thats not what he means. When you have ha hmg vs fades, its mid to end game, the greatest tactical options are present and it can swing either way. Everything you do at this point changes the outcome of the game
Bind m "Say You died."
Push M when someone says "WTH!!!11oneone" or "OMG"
All the other cheap tactics are exclusively the marine territory, which tends to support the balance issues in the current build.
I'm sure there will be less of these 'lame' tactics in the game once 1.1 comes out and removes most of them.

Savant
what kind of lame language is this?
If you ask me, they weren't lame, they were unlucky

Or when they've built DC's in some really strange place, choosed regeneration and sit in a vent healing over and over and over...
EDIT: Changed build to built.
